When I came to the first class, you might say
I was scared to use my body. I felt I was losing my physical
abilities, due to age (I am turning 63) and knee problems (a
total knee was done in June 2009). To boot, I have never been
athletic anyway.
While I have done yoga (mostly Hatha) in the past, I always felt
it was some sort of athletic contest. Your approach
reassured me that that's not what Kundalini yoga is about. I
like that you talk about what we are doing in a gentle,
never distracting, way. I have been able to relax and stretch
more than I thought possible! I come out of class
feeling relaxed, happy and amazingly pain-free. The healing
focus of your yoga classes is especially important to me, and I
think it would be an excellent service to offer others. ~ JM
It was the evening of Kay's yoga class, but
after working all day I felt very tired and had a major headache
so I
just wanted to stay home and lie down. I decided to go to class
anyway and when class was over, my headache was gone, my energy
was back and I felt great. Thanks for a great class Kay! ~ JE
With all the rain we have had this spring, I
was starting to feel down. I remembered an exercise sequence Kay
taught us in class as a warm up and started doing it in the
mornings. I was happy that it perked me up! ~ AC
I have attended Kay's gong relaxation
sessions played during the monthly full moon class for a few
months now and have experienced a clearer, focused mind. ~ NM
I wasn't feeling good, as if I was coming down with a cold, and
almost skipped Kay's yoga class. To my surprise and delight, I
felt much better after class. ~ CR
I was having back pain issues, which was
becoming chronic. I was ready to go to see my doctor, but a
friend recommended Kay's yoga class to me. To my surprise, my
back pain was relieved before the class ended. ~ AW
